I grew up in a country with 7000+ islands and is surrounded by the seas. I was always near the coast and saw the ocean every day. The sunsets were always beautiful.
Now I live in Europe. It's very different. The sea and beaches here are unique but different. I miss the smell of the sea, views and sounds from my home country.
The name of my blog, "Longing for the Sea", comes from this nostalgia. Now that I live in Europe, I miss the unique characteristics of the sea and beaches of my home country. This longing for the sea significantly influences my writing and the themes I explore in my blog.
