Seas apart
I've been feeling something deep and wide like the sea.
I like someone who seems as big and free as the ocean. But just like the far-off point where the sea touches the sky, they seem so far from me.
Despite my best tries, every day is the same. The gap between us doesn't change, just like a sea that separates us. I feel a want, a need, but the fact that we might always be apart like a sea, overshadows it.
For now, I find comfort in the fact that even though we're apart like a sea, the same sky covers us both.
